Who is SGT Peterson?
A short and sweet auto-biography and life story
My name is Tim “SGT” Peterson, I grew up in south Minneapolis, I went to South High School were I played football, ran track, and made the hockey team by a narrow margin. After graduating from the open program I went into the active Air Force. There I was fast tracked promoted to Staff Sergeant and ran a crew that worked on the weapons systems of F-15 and F-16 Aircraft as well as loaded nearly ever munition in the Air Force inventory.
In between loading Air planes is where I found time to study for my personal training certifications. After being certified at UCLA I started training professionally at a few Gold's Gym's in Las Vegas. My mom got sick so I decided to come back home and where I joined the Air National Guard while I finished my degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix. While I did this I worked at Bally Total Fitness and Lifetime Fitness as a personal training manager and personal trainer. While working at these places I set many regional and national records that still stand to this day!
I got tired or working for big soul-less companies and decided to go back into the military full time. I got hired with the Army National Guard to be a recruiter for the 2-135 Air Assault Infantry Unit in West Saint Paul, MN. While recruiting for the National Guard I was selected to coach the Varsity defensive line at South High School, 3 out of 4 of my lineman made all city! I recruited for about 4 years and after setting the national record for enlistments in one month I decided I was no longer challenged and I missed training so much that I had to go back.
I started consulting to gyms across the country with Alter Ego Fitness Group which is now known as PTLogix, which brought me to the Parisi Speed School in New Jersey were I learned a thing are two about Speed and agility training from arguably the worlds best! While working with Alter Ego I saw a park across the street and decided that it would be a great place to do a fitness boot camp. I did exactly that and well... you know the rest of the story... We are the highest ranking boot camp on a google search for Minneapolis and Saint Paul!
